Preventive examinations

Prevention is the key to healthy, shining and whitish teeth. To prevent tooth decay, yellowing of the teeth, inflammation, periodontal disease and other diseases, visit your dentist regularly twice a year, so be sure to make an appointment for your next preventive check-up.

Preventive dental care

Regular check-ups with your dentist allow for early detection of problems and ensure a higher success rate of treatment. It is a common myth that what is sick hurts. There are dental diseases that are not accompanied by pain. Preventive examinations are necessary not only to check the teeth, but also other tissues of the oral cavity. In addition, they help to detect some serious diseases of the entire human organism. Therefore, it is advisable to visit the dentist once every six months.

How is a preventive dental check-up carried out?

A preventive dental chairside examination includes a complete dental examination, a review of the strength of the teeth, and a check of the condition of the mucous membranes, gums, soft tissues and jaws. Approximately once a year, an X-ray of the oral cavity is also taken to check for tooth decay. Instruction in good dental hygiene is a matter of course.
